Keegan, Kaleb, & Princess,
I know.
You are already rolling your eyes with the title of this blog post.
It doesn’t matter. You probably need to hear this at least a couple (or a million) more times.
Keeping your room, or home, clean is more than just staying organized and preventing bugs and rodents from snuggling with you during the middle of the night. It’s also about having a little bit of discipline in your life, taking care of items that you own, and not being a complete slob.
It’s easier to be productive around cleanliness, as opposed to chaotic disorder.
If you don’t want to take my word for it, check out this episode of Hoarding: Buried Alive.
It truly is not just about your home life. The ability to keep your surrounding area organized and clean carries over to your work life.
A little dust and disorder is okay, but too much bogs you down.
I love you guys,
Mom
