Dear Keegan, Kaleb, & Khloe,
There will be times in your life, especially as you become young adults, when it makes more sense to borrow an item from family or friends instead of buying it.
It’s important that you take care of that item as much as possible, whether it’s a blender or a boat. (You probably won’t be borrowing my boat… FYI. I love my boat. You’ll have to get your own.)
It matters, not only how you treat people, but how you treat things. It’s not only about respect to the individual that you are borrowing it from, but also about not taking things for granted and being wasteful with something.
Boy, do I sound like an old person today. I think I need to log off my computer, turn up my radio, and dance in the cabin.
Anyway, moral of this lesson is that it’s okay to have fun, but remember to be responsible and respectful with people and things.
Love you!
