Dear Keegan, Kaleb, & Khloe,
When I was a senior in high school, I had the chance to go to Paris with a teacher and a group of friends. Grandma and Grandpa Lovette saved money to make sure that I had the opportunity to do so.
It was an unbelievable experience. I couldn’t believe how different life was half a world away. I saw beautiful architecture, breathtaking art, and experienced a completely different culture than I was used to.
Growing up, the three of you have not had a lot of chances to travel, although we tried to travel when we could. There was Florida, the Canada trips, and excursions to the U.P. I guess we also should count the trip to Vegas and the Grand Canyon.
Each of those different trips offered new experiences for you to be a part of. It was important for you to see, to hear, and to do different things away from home.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m a self-proclaimed introvert at heart with a slight tendency to lean towards an agoraphobic nature.
There’s nothing wrong with enjoying your home and being content to stay right where you are. As a matter of fact, I’m never happier than I am when I’m either at home in my Writing Cabin, or Up North, looking out at the water.
I just hope that when opportunities arise, you take advantage of any time that you are able to go and see what the world has to offer.
Just remember, call me when you can. Also, don’t turn off your Life 360.
Love you more than you can know,
Mom
