The Eaton Rapids boys basketball team is ready for a revenge season after having a not so good season last year. This year the varsity team has been putting in a lot of hard work to make sure they have a better season than last year. This year’s team has a lot of returners because they only had one senior last season. Some of the returners include Braylon Nobach, Cooper Oliver, Ethan Gaston, and Nick White.
The boys freshman team has hired a few new coaches and the varsity team has hired a new assistant coach Josh Dodge. All of the ER boys basketball teams have started conditioning early before the season starts to try and get a head start on opponents. They have also started practicing early before the season started.
When we asked Cooper Oliver his thoughts on the upcoming season he said “I’m excited for the season I think with the amount of people showing up, we will have a good season and improve a lot with our younger players.”
Over all the ER boys basketball teams are making new improvements this year and working extra hard to not have a season like last year. They hope to rebuild this year and make the program better in the coming future.
