Today has been a long, tedious day. It began, or last night ended, with a website session adding various links that took until after 2:00 A.M. I wanted to read a little bit in my latest J.D. Robb book, so I didn’t end up going to bed until after 3:00 A.M. (Completely my fault).
This morning, I decided I was going to tackle the issue of the Navigation Bar on the home screen of this website. Prior to today, there was just an empty square. After numerous YouTube videos from the ‘Blogging My Passion’ guy who was extremely helpful, I think I have some of my pages finally linked at the top of the page.

I started to feel a little confidence after the Navigation Bar stayed where it was supposed to and the links worked. Due to this, I decided to tackle my blog posts organization. What I wanted was to create individual buttons for each month. People could click on a month and read the posts, then if they wanted to, they could read posts from a different month. There are probably numerous ways to achieve this goal. I listened to the YouTube guy, installed a Plug-In called ‘List Categories,’ and then added the word ‘categories’ into brackets on my home page.

This worked, however there’s just one minor issue. The categories are listed in alphabetical order. I was kind of hoping for chronological order. It’s a minor detail at this point and I’m not going to try and fix it tonight. I’m going to take the Win and enjoy dinner with my family.
Goals for Today:
- Read another chapter in my J.D. Robb book
- Create a Pin for Pinterest
- Make a list of website issues to focus on tomorrow
