I hate technology. I’m the type of person who writes on the Google form without making a copy first. I’m the reason that those pesky little reminders are added to work emails ‘reminding’ people of how to follow step by step procedures for some mundane task that takes a person in their 20’s 5 minutes to do. It takes me forever and a day.
What made me think that I could start a blog? Sure, I enjoy writing. I have this desire to write down quick little posts about daily adventures. I want to also have a place to collect written records of stories from my youth, as well as little tidbits that have been passed down from my parents and grandparents.
The main piece of all of this that I do not enjoy is the tech. I don’t even know what button to click next to get this initial post out there on the Internet. It more than likely will not even work, and if it does, the question will be if I’m optimistic enough to try again another day. I guess we will see. Whether this new adventure lasts 5 years, or 1 week, I’m excited to start!
